TomiBerryTomi Berry, senior consultant, has an extensive background in management development, leadership education, diversity, hospitality/customer service, food safety, branding, presentation skills, safety leadership, coaching and teambuilding.  Her experience also includes staff and management training, organization management, adult learning theory, distance learning and human resources policies and procedures.

Tomi’s Fortune 500 Corporate work includes Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served as Organization Development Consultant in the areas of professional development and human resources.  At Turner she provided customized training and team building interventions and designed instructional courses for various TBS clients.  At Marriott International, she held several positions over her 15-year career including Director of Human Resources and National Training Manager. Highlights included working with over 30 hotels nationwide, directing the work of human resource staff members at two premier resort and luxury properties, working at a hotel front desk, opening two hotels and installing payroll technology for HR Systems for Marriott’s corporate office.

Tomi has served as a Director of Training for the Arthritis Foundation, a non-profit health services organization where she collaborated with various national and chapter staff members on training needs within the organization, coordinated annual conferences and provided training consultation.   In her consulting practice she has provided learning solutions for Arthritis Foundation, CARE, Inc., General Electric, Freddie Mac, CNBC, Mercer University, SABIC, Catholic Health East and BNSF Railway where she delivers coaching within and facilitation of their nationwide engineering safety leadership program.

Tomi has acquired certifications and qualifications in various programs including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, instructional design from Results Through Training, Inc., Benchmarks 360 Feedback Tools, and Steinbrecher & Associates Advanced Coaching Methodology.  She is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through The Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE).
