"Your Ted Talk on 'Career Advice You Probably Didn't Get' was very enlightening. I had a male CFO give me advice on confidence when I had asked advice about how I could make an impact in the organization. Didn't realize I was treated differently until I saw you're talk. "

"I just viewed your TED talk, it was great and I wanted to say thanks, I'm about to take a new role, it's also a role I've previously done, but I believe the company is a good bet. I'd already planned to secure a mentor etc. but now will build in very specific rapid learnings on 'understanding the business, where it's going and my role in taking it there'!"

"Susan I was at a Bar Mitzvah in Worcester a couple of weeks sitting next to someone who praised you and insisted I look you up. I did! and watched your Ted Talk, etc. I can't tell you what an impact your Missing 33%(TM) concept made!...THANK YOU for the great conceptual framing of a critically important and yes, MISSING aspect of women's leadership development!."
- Nancy L.

I did not have the chance to listen to your speech (the missing 33%) at HP Paris nor at WIN, but thanks to TED, I got finally the opportunity! Many thanks! This is a great message.
I remember a career discussion with a former manager of mine, who was explaining me why he did not see moving to the next level (from manager to director), and guess what? - it was all about strategic and business acumen. At this time, I felt upset, and overtime this even affected my self-confidence. However, I was not able to identify the real reasons why I was upset. Now, with your speech, I got it! First, he was telling me this without offering any perspective to develop those 33% missing. Bad. Second, I felt lonely: me, the only person having such an issue...
I'm very glad that you succeeded in putting the right words. Now I feel that I can develop myself and that I'm not the only one. I feel so relief! I really thank you for this!" Cheers,
- Sandra F.

"I was truly inspired after watching your video on TED. Also, it gives much motivation to women like us from developing countries (Bangladesh) who strive in this male dominating society to move up the ladder. In fact, I myself have been working in an organization where even a few months before, I was the only women working with 35 other men. However, I have tried my best to keep myself competitive. Thank you for inspiration. It will be an honor if we can ever meet in person. I wish you all the best to this remarkable journey of yours. Good Luck! "
