Leading Women of Southeastern New England (SENE)
Lisa Bergeron’s passion to inspire women is fueled by her role as president of Leading Women SENE. She understands that there is no single model of success for women and that it spans age, race and nationalities. She connects a diverse community of women through networking, mentoring and innovative leadership programs all designed to provide what women need to be inspired and empowered to succeed at all levels and phases of their career and leadership journey.
Lisa is an accomplished leader with an innate ability to advance business by developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Under her leadership, Leading Women SENE has grown from 250 members (in 2005) to 2000+ members (in 2009) and now supports the internal women’s networks at Amgen (AWIN), GTECH (GWiN), Pfizer (WLE), LGC&D (Women Count), Partridge Snow & Hahn (W.A.V.E.) and AIPSO.
Lisa area of expertise is delivering learnings in the areas of leadership, communication, personal brand development, networking, relationship management and negotiation. Her extensive experience working across a variety of industry sectors including, manufacturing, petrochemical, financial, high tech, media, consumer goods & services and not for profit, give her broad understanding of business realities. Her programs are engaging, grounded in reality and offer practical results-oriented applications to help women open their minds to explore new ideas, address obstacles and be empowered to take the next steps in their personal and professional development.

Lisa is an active member of the business community. She serves on the Board of Directors of RIEAP, Resource International Employee Assistance, a not for profit agency that serves employees in over 30 states. She was recognized nationally by the YWCA Northern RI as a Women of Achievement in the category of Increasing Women’s Income.

Prior to taking on the role of president at Leading Women, Lisa spent over 18 years in major northeast markets in the broadcast industry progressing to senior management positions. She is a Certified CCU Business Essential Coach, TTI Certified Behavior Analyst, RAB Certified Marketing Consultant, and Certified Creativity Coach. She is a Training Consultant for Colearn, the online distance learning division of the Center of Sales Strategy, an international consulting firm specializing in the training needs of media and marketing executives.
