You might recognize Carrie -- her book "From the Pits to the Palace" has generated media attention and raving reviews from hundreds of inspired readers. But you'll want to meet her up close and personal to experience the tremendous passion and energy that fuels her inspired leadership.  

Carrie is founder of three businesses including a cleaning service she started with no money and grew to a multimillion dollar contract-cleaning company that supported 165 employees.  During her 17 years as president of this company she received several business and community awards. Described by Andrea Silbert, Co-founder of Center for Women and Enterprise, as "an extraordinary woman who held an ordinary dream - to earn a decent living to provide for herself and her young sons", Carrie's story will serve as a reminder to all of us that all things are possible.  "My story is undeniable confirmation that whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right!  It's about finding your own magnificence." says Carrie as she invites you to hear more of how she got "from the pits to the palace." 

About Carrie Johnson: Carrie has shared her inspiration and served as mentor and advisee to hundreds of aspiring entrepreneurs through her dedication to the Center for Women and Enterprise. Starting as a client,  she continued to give back to this community by teaching business classes , serving on the board, and ultimately leading the Worcester office as interim executive director. She has served on several Board of Directors including The Center for Women and Enterprise, New England Minority Supplier Development Council, Wayside Youth and Family Network, and the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. She has a BA and MA in journalism from California State University, Los Angeles and Northeastern University in Boston, MA
